Our B&B Bedrooms
We have just two bedrooms at the Romany Rest B&B, so you can be sure of our individual attention.
The bedrooms have Hairdryers, Radio/CD players, Tea and Coffee making facilities (kettle and coffee maker), televisions with satellite TV & DVD players, iron & ironing board, alarm clocks and en-suite full-size bathrooms. The rooms have hardwood floors with 100% wool, hand-made area rugs.

The comfortable mattresses and linens are of good quality, and each room has good sized closets, ample drawer space & ceiling fan. For your comfort and safety, each room has an individual thermostat temperature control and is equipped with a smoke detector.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy
We don't have many 'rules' but there are a couple of things we must make clear:

We'll do our best to hold bookings whilst you finalise your arrangements BUT -
no booking is firm until the deposit has been received and booking confirmed
Check-in is between 3pm-8pm. We are logistically UNABLE to accept late check-ins.
Sorry about the 'rules' but we've found we need to make things really clear. Having said that we always try our best to be helpful and flexible to accommodate your needs, so telephone us with any queries or concerns.
The deposit (first night rental) is charged on booking. If you cancel with at least 14 days notice, we will refund your deposit less a $25 service charge.
Your deposit is forfeited if any part of your booking is cancelled with less than 14 days notice.
Check-in is between 3pm-8pm. This is one of the few 'rules' and we are unable to accommodate later arrivals. Checkout by 11am.
Once we have confirmed availability for you and told you the amount of the deposit, you may conveniently pay your deposit online by Paypal below. Click on the drop down menu, select the amount to pay and then press "Buy Now".

FAQ
A: We hope so, but can't make any guarantees. In the interests of caring for the environment, our pool is heated by solar panels. These work wonderfully well, and when the sun is out the pool is very warm. Unfortunately, we can't control the weather, so if it is dull or raining for extended periods then the pool will cool off. The best thing is to see the pool as an added bonus if the weather is fine, but if a swimming pool is vital to the enjoyment of your holiday you would be better off looking for a hotel with an indoor pool.
A: The rooster is allowed outside at approximately 7.15am. No-one has reported hearing him before then. Most people really enjoy having a rooster as a morning call and feel it's very much part of the country experience. Breakfast is served between 8am-9am, so we have him well-trained to call you at just the right time!
A: The Romany Rest is a wonderful place for children to visit. They can play in the wagon, pet the sheep and feed the ducks and hens. We also have our swimming pool for them to enjoy (strictly under your own supervision).
A: Sorry, but no. There are two reasons. First because of our sheep, hens and ducks and secondly because we have regular guests who are allergic to dogs and cats. We do love animals and are sorry we can't accommodate your pets.
